Agbaeze is a computer science researcher specializing in scalable distributed computing and performance evaluations. With over eight years of academic experience, he focuses on designing algorithms for novel application and protocols, modelling and performance evaluations.

My research aims to solve critical challenges related to system throughput, latency, and resilience in large-scale, distributed computing environments. My work contributes to advancing technologies in cloud computing, and high-availability network services.

Beyond research, Agbaeze is passionate about academic development and training, having taught a wide range of computer science courses and mentored undergraduate research projects. He is also actively involved in promoting research skills education, helping to cultivate strong methodologies, critical thinking, and scientific writing among emerging researchers.

Research interests

Agbaeze's research canters on the design of consensus algorithms, with particular emphasis on developing protocols that are scalable, fault-tolerant, and efficient for distributed systems. He is also actively involved in modelling and simulation, which he uses to analyse system behaviour under various conditions. A core part of his work includes performance evaluation, where he rigorously tests and compares the reliability, throughput, and latency of different consensus strategies aiming to improve their suitability for real-world applications such as blockchain networks, distributed databases, and cloud computing environments.
