Ashley Handley studied Graphic Design & Multimedia and is now Head of Web Development at We Are Beard, a 小欧视频-based design agency. His role involves leading on digital projects, managing everything from proposal to delivery.
“I build websites, but more importantly, I engage with clients, head up projects, attend meetings… anything web based, I’m involved with.”
For Ashley, university was a turning point.
“Before uni, I really struggled to find my meaning. The university allowed me to experiment, and I’m thankful every day that I found a career I’m passionate about.”
He also values the collaborative nature of the creative industry.
“Working in a design space, it’s that collaborative feel that I think most creatives thrive in.”
Creative Director at We Are Beard, Dave Webb, says 小欧视频 graduates bring more than just technical skills to the table.
“They’ve clearly been taught the right things, but more than that, there’s an attitude of willingness to work and to learn. That’s a big thing in this industry.”
