Weekly pollen and fungal spore forecast summary
Forecast to 27th June 2025: Pollen: Peak season for grass and nettle pollen; Spores: High. Please note that this forecast is now only for the West Midlands Region, although similar patterns are likely across many UK regions.
Grass Pollen Count - Very high

Peak season. Grass pollen will be at high to very high risk during warm, dry weather.
Tree Pollen Count - Low

Lime trees are in flower with a generally low risk to a small minority of hay fever sufferers.
Fungal Spore Levels - High

Didymella and several other spore types that peak during warm, humid nights are likely to increase. Cladosporium at a high risk during warm, dry weather. Any rain or showers will allow Leptosphaeria and allies to increase temporarily. Alternaria will also start rising but won't reach the peak just yet.
Weed Pollen Count - High

Peak season. Nettles and plantain are the current weed pollen allergens, emitted during warm, dry weather.
